Design with Experience, Craft and Vision
My career spans fashion, interiors, retail design and bespoke furniture, giving me a unique cross-disciplinary perspective on how people interact with spaces, products and personal style.
Before establishing my studio, I spent eight years running a successful joinery business, working closely with skilled craftspeople to design and produce custom interiors and furniture. This experience gave me a deep understanding of materials, construction and the technical side of design.
Design has always been part of my life. I come from a family deeply connected to textiles and craftsmanship – from professional wool classing to dressmaking – influences that shaped my lifelong appreciation for colour, texture and materiality.
Today, through Lisa Galvin Design, I bring that experience together to help clients create distinctive interiors, cohesive retail environments and confident personal style.
