My grandmother was an accomplished seamstress. My dad was a professional wool classer. From Mum, I inherited an ability to sew, along with a knack of unearthing treasures from unlikely places.
Making beauty is what I’ve always loved to do.
I owned a vintage clothing and wares business. I got into fashion sustainability way before it was a thing. I studied millinery and interior design. I ran a business for a bespoke design and furniture atelier with a couple of talented French master craftsmen in an award-winning business.
Now, as the chief creative spark at Lisa Galvin Design, I get to bring my knack with vivacious colours and textures into full effect.
