And it doesn't need to be completely replaced.

Good interiors start with understanding how you live, what you value and what you already have that's worth keeping.

That might be an antique inherited from family, artwork you've collected, a beautifully made sofa, an odd little object with a story or the dining table everyone keeps suggesting you replace but you rather like, thank you very much.

Rather than imposing a predetermined aesthetic, I look for the thread connecting the things you love and build from there.

Colour, texture and materiality play a significant role in my work, balanced with practicality, longevity and an understanding of how things are actually made.

The result should feel collected, considered and personal.

My background in custom joinery means I'm equally interested in what happens behind the beautiful surface.

I understand materials, fabrication, documentation and communicating design intent clearly to the people who actually have to build it.

Pretty drawings are lovely.

Buildable ones are better.
