Master Bedroom / Interior Design
A master bedroom renovation where neutrals were elevated with smart moves and luxurious texture.
A confession: I'm allergic to neutrals. So how did I get through this project with panache? By leaning into my background in fashion styling and finding the hacks that make neutrals work hard.
The brief was to take this master bedroom from Vanilla to Rocky Road. That meant building up layers of natural texture with tumbled Travertine stone, sourcing plush carpet and opulent fabrics, introducing low-voltage LED lighting in all the right places, and committing to warm neutral tones over cool ones.
In a fantastic twist, this client had a spectacular wardrobe collection. So we redesigned the entire master bedroom suite to make the walk-in wardrobe a feature in its own right. Every garment and accessory visible, considered and on show. Their sense of style became part of the room.
Pampering, considered and genuinely inviting. A master bedroom you actually want to spend time in.
